A Cappella Group Nota Gets Down to Jay Sean's 'Down' on 'The Sing-Off'

A cappella group Nota killed it on last night’s episode of NBC’s new show The Sing-Off! Why you wonder? Well, because they chose to perform Jay Sean’s hit single "Down" of course!

The boy band was a huge hit with the audience, but most of all, they impressed the "Down" star himself! After the performance, Jay Sean hit up Twitter to share his thoughts about the group, and his verdict? Well, to quote Paris Hilton, it was "hot!"

"Wow! Did u guys just see the cover of my song "down" on the "sing off" on NBC just now??!! Dayuum!! Thats hot!" Jay tweeted.

Nota says, I'll Be There in the Finale of The Sing-off

Last night the judges made their final eliminations on The Sing-off, and now it's up to America to vote for the best a cappella singing group.

The new NBC series has really taken off after three straight nights of competition, but now we have to wait until December 21 to find out who wins.

This semi-final round was divided in to two parts. First up, the groups had to sing a medley of songs from a hit group or songwriter.

Nota went with The Jackson Five and it was an excellent choice. They performed “I Want You Back”, “I’ll Be There” and “ABC.” The transitions were amazing and the soft performance of "I'll Be There" cemented their place in the competition.
